Right now I just pulled up at a local minit mart. Its a store where middle and high school kids hang out before, durring and after school. Also at their lunchtime. Im looking at a girl whos on her lunchtime and she is standing outside of this minit mart, feeding her baby.... This , to me is a sad sight. Its raining And windy and this girl has other teenagers passing her baby around cooing about it! Wtf?! The baby needs a hat and coat and socks on. What is wrong with these girls? I think they need to use there heads more, and there hormones less!

Ok ..so i notce ppl are having problems commenting on my blogs. I will navigate through blogspot and see how it works. Im guessing you need to login in and be a member of blogspot. Then when u read any blogs posted u can follow people and comment on the posts.

So i have been at college for a week now and have had to get 3 weeks of work done this week alone! but anyhow all is good with back to school, im really liking it. I even take weight training, which i love, it's like free gym membership!! LOL . Today my son had a soccer game and it was fun. I love going to my kids sports events. One event that is BORRRRing, is track and field meets! Anyone else feel this way? I mean you get there and then what? No direction on where to go or when certain events start. We missed our daughters discus event, but then when we got to her javilin we had to wait , standing there for 40 mins while each kids in line went! YAWN. now, don't get me wrong, I love to watch Lexxi compete, just the waiting is so so so ridiculous. Can't wait till volleyball season! Tomorrow I need to do laundry, LOTS of it! It like piled up while I was at school all week and today, I took a day off from anything academic, or domestic! Im heading to the store in a min for ice cream, popcorn and a movie! My daughter and I are gonna veg, and relax before Monday! I will soon get to the story of when me and Ron first started dating, 17 years ago. Ok.. So i was dropped from my english class cuz i had missed the first week or so.. NOT MY FAULT! i was waiting for financial aid! I didnt know I could go to classes if I hadnt been approved for aid!

So im sitting here in my first college class waiting for the teacher to arrive so i can talk to her about still being able to be in this class.. Im nervous, and worried. What if I can't? I have my financial aid already ..and how does that work? =( There r a few students in here now and they r working on papers! Yikes. If I stay, i have alot of make up work,..and that sucks!

my weekend...

So this weekend was less than eventful, I shouldn't say that. My son calvin had a soccer game on saturday, and I absolutly love going to his soccer games. He made a goal this game too! He has gotten so much better each year that he plays! and his coach has been the same one all 3 years, which is good for him and his team,they grow up together and know how each other plays.. OK enough about soccer. LOL

When I checked my email yesterday afternoon, I finally got my award letter for financial aid! woohooo! I am officially a college student! Im proud of myself. It is never to late to go back to school, or do the things you want to do. Remember that! Just like i tell my kids, if you put effort and your mind to it, anything is possible.

So now as I look back at the last year of my life, I'm glad at the events that happened, it has made me a stronger person, and motivated me to go to school. So thank you safeway, for treating me like shit, and making me feel like i wasted 5 yrs of my life working there, under all the bullshit! The only thing I miss from there are a few of my co-workers , (you know who you are) and,... the fact the starbucks employees all knew how to make my drink! I want to have a job that is meaningful and not a bunch of bullshit drama, and backstabbing, and managers who DO NOT stand up for you.!!

So now like twitter,i can blog from my cell! Im beginning to love this stuff! Thinking of starting a website soon...but first..i start college tomorrow! Im a little nervous and a bit confused on all this financial aid letters this..residency that..blah blah blah! I just want to go to classes and hopefully like them and do well. And in a few yrs, become an RN! Lol. Wish me luck. Ill write more exciting stuff tomorrow! PROMISE

retuning to college after 14 yrs!!

So after having 2 kids , who are ages 13 and 8, I have decided to follow my dream....well sort of.. and return to school. Now I have not been in school for 14 years! so this is an all new experience to me. I have applied for financial aid, and got all my paperwork in, but now the waiting game... This is the most tedious part of the whole process! I got my papers in order all the way back in October 2009!, and then in the last 3 weeks or so, i have registered for classes, (starting my pre-requisits for RN nursing program) turned in a million papers that they always say, "this is the last thing we need" YAH RIGHT! reminder to those who go back to school, never believe this nonsense saying! I have since turned in like 4 more "needed" forms.
So apparantly they need to know I have lived in the state of Washington for at least 12 months, now all the stuff I have gave them, you would think they would know that .yes I have lived here my whole life. But no,! I had to bring in proof... Proof? what?! So I take them a utility bill that says where i live now, guess that means i have lived here at least 1 year. Ok, now im finally done , or so I think. Now i go to the school, and check on my financial aid, and see if they got my proof of residency letter all done and put in my file. Sure enough , they did! Wow, but then I'm told that classes have been going almost 2 weeks now, and have I been going? WHAT! why would I go to classes that I haven't even paid for yet, I thought that when you apply for financial aid, you must wait until you are approved so that you can pay for the classes, BEFORE you can attend them. OK, so I must once again remind myself, and the advisor that I do not know how all this college shit works! I am doing all that I have been asked, and people just expect that I should know everything? Now I'm 2 weeks behind in classes, and I have to go and talk to my teachers and ask that they put me back on the class list. Plus I'm going to have so much homework! I know that it will all be worth it, but anyone who works at a college, please be nicer to those of us who are not 18, and are trying to better ourselves by returning to school.
Wish me luck, tomorrow is my first day of college, hopefully they let me back in to my classes and i can get caught up with no problem!

blog number 1 !! hmmm

Well today i read an article in our local newspaper about mom's blogging and people getting so upset about reading what moms do with there time. now as i see it we all parent different and no one mom is "perfect" we all have our faults, and who am i to judge, right? WRONG! i find myself judging people ALL the time, that is one thing me and my husband of 14 years love to do best! we all the time talk about people we see, and judge from just looking. Ok some may think that is wrong, but hey, who, but us knows we are doing it?

Who do we judge the most?? well no one in particular really , just anyone who we think is "worthy" of our judging! LOL , lately , I think that by what I see in todays teens, (we have a 14 yr old daughter) they do things JUST TO be judged! so many of the teens i have seen are so rude to adults! What is wrong with them?!! My husband and I have taught our kids sooo much on respecting all people, but especially adults, what are all these other parents teaching?, how to be mean, rude and foul-mouthed!!
